Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Originally erected in the 1790s, this building literally housed the nation’s second bank. Daniel J. Keating Company was engaged by the National Park Service to convert the structure into a portrait gallery, displaying over one hundred Revolutionary and Federal portraits.
The project consisted of extensive interior and exterior renovations, including a new HVAC system, upgraded electrical service and distribution, new sprinklers and extensive plaster and paint restoration.
This project was Daniel J. Keating Company’s seventh major construction project at Independence National Park in Philadelphia.
