Ambler, Pennsylvania
The fall 2007 semester at Temple University Ambler began with a new central hub for the suburban campus. The largest, most prominent building on campus, the 72,000-square-foot Learning Center includes multimedia classrooms, computer teaching laboratories, distance-learning facility, the Ambler Campus Technology Center, the Writing-Math-Science Tutorial Center, art studios for painting and drawing, Café a la Carte, student lounges, and a 300-seat “smart” auditorium. Technology is fully integrated in the building including wireless access throughout, and the Center is equipped with 385 computers. The Ambler Learning Center provides greater learning opportunities for students and an innovative site for educational and community events. Daniel J. Keating Company and Bittenbender Construction joint ventured to build this facility.
